Training Of Value Chain Actors on Food Safety/SPS Self-assessment Guides (SAGS) & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)
EAMDA developed training material and conducted capacity building activities in 13 counties in Kenya with the aim of strengthening the capacities of value chain actors in dairy, aquaculture and horticultural subsectors; bolstering commercial farming; improving food security and safety; triggering investment from both the public and the private sector; increasing productivity of the selected value chains, improving food safety systems and increasing access to both local and export markets.

EAMDA developed a holistic training guide that supports the understanding and application (the theory and practice) of the greening concept to farmers and other key stakeholders. EAMDA also facilitated the training of 20 farmers leads, 20 farm estate Advisors and 5 ward agricultural officers
who will serve as greening agents.
